Mrs. O Does Push-Ups

For those who missed Ellen on Thursday, this video is a must-watch. Mrs. O and Ellen do push-ups ... and a lot of them! On the fashion front: a Duro Olowu top and Reed Krakoff blazer, both worn previously by the first lady.

A Sunday Stroll

The Obamas ventured out of the White House yesterday to visit the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. For the outing, Mrs. O wore a Duro Olowu tweed overcoat paired with an orange scarf, a combination last seen at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in December 2011, here. Duro Olowu certainly became one of the first lady's signature designers in 2011 (by my count, Mrs. O wore Duro Olowu on 10 occasions in 2011, second only to Rachel Roy). Can't wait to see what he delivers in 2012!

Holiday Lights!

The First Lady and family, plus Kermit, attended the 2011 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Ellipse near the White House last evening. On the style front, Mrs. O wore a tweed overcoat, paired with an orange geometric print Duro Olowu scarf and black trousers. A jeweled brooch sparkled at the collar.

Update: Mrs. O wears a wool and silk boucle coat by Duro Olowu from the designer's FW11 collection. And, our very own Charlene in Detroit has spotted Mrs. Robinson's coat: the Carr Ribbon Tweed Jacket by Tory Burch.

Mrs. O was in New Orleans, Louisiana yesterday, where she visited the Royal Castle Child Development Center to visit children and promote Let's Move. While in New Orleans, the First Lady also spoke at a DNC fundraiser. On the fashion front, Mrs. O paired a Duro Olowu printed top with navy trousers. You may recognize the top from here.
