Blue Belle

The First Lady has another full day at the Democratic National Convention, attending the African American Caucus and Hispanic Caucus meetings, as well as a luncheon for the Human Rights Campaign and Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund. For the appearances, Mrs. O wore a watercolor floral blue sheath dress gathered at the right shoulder seam. Gorgeous!
Update: The "soft turquoise watercolored print" sheath dress is the work of designer Laura Smalls. Mrs. O added Laura Smalls to her style repertoire in May 2011, seen here.

I know this blog is for style comments..... i cant help but saying Michele , I love you so much. You are a lady, a woman, a wife, a mother and as a friend to people all over the world.
This is a classic Mrs. O look that we've all grown to love. Bold color, great follow up to her pretty dress of last night.
I just saw a glance of the dress she is wearing tonight at the DNC and I'm giving it a "hmmmm" for now. Not sure I'm feeling the lace over the fabric creating an off-the-shoulder look. Maybe a full picture of the dress will change my mind.
Agree with Iva's comment about the black lace on grey dress from Wed. night's convention. Not the look for early September weather in North Carolina.
This dress is soooooooooooo PRETTY!!!!
What a beautiful dress.
Our Michelle can wear a sheath dress like noone else. I like this watercolor print, it's flattering to most skine tones.
Good job Lara Smalls!
Love the colors and the fabric!
Iva and Mae, really no one gives a hoot to what you are not
FEELING or whether grey is to be worn in Sept in NC.
