The first lady spoke at the U.S. Department of Labor yesterday to support new rules proposed to help caregivers of wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. The event was part of the ongoing Joining Forces initiative spearheaded by Mrs. Obama and Dr. Biden to support military service members and their families.
On the style front, Mrs. O wore a dress and jacket from the label Preen. The first lady debuted the ensemble during a trip to London last year, seen here.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe Mrs. O wore this same outfit (sans jacket) during a Women for Obama event in New York on September 20th, 2011. If you go to Mrs. O's Facebook page and click on the sixth photo in wall photos, then I believe the look will come up!

Indeed, Joan. Isn't it a gorgeous colour. I remember seeing it for the first time in London and marvelling at how the suit really showed off her amazing curves.
Great color, but the shoulder line is unflattering. Perhaps it is just the photo.
