Mrs. O in Puma Sneakers

The sneaker obsessed among us probably took note when the first lady debuted a new pair of shoes this week to harvest the White House vegetable garden. Mrs. O wore PUMA 917 Lo Poparts, priced at a very economical $55.00. They're still available at Puma's online store, here.

Good to know that Mrs.O is a fan. I own 3 pairs of Puma's myself. This is definitely one of the benefits of having an 8yr old and a 10yr old - they keep you young and on top of things!

Dear Mrs T., you must know that there are those who will still begrudge her even these "economical" sneakers. The woman simply can't win for losing, so she might as well just be. LOL.

P.S - The Puma's are super nice, but the Lanvin's are a serious pair of enduring hotness! Price and fake outrage be damned!
Luv these sneakers! Went to the Puma site to order a pair to add to my collection ( currently have three pairs) but the picture on their web site doesn't look like the same shoe. FLOTUS' shoe has six eyelets the other has seven. Also, the color looks a little off. Can someone help me Pleeeeease?

Oops...I see my mistake now. Mrs. O's sneakers don't seem to have as many eyelets (Is this what they're called?) because she's bending her foot ;) I ordered these today. Can't wait to wear them. I'm a young 48yrs (soon to be 49, ugh) and like the fun, youthfulness of these shoes. My sons will probably hate them, but who cares.
Almost forgot to mention...these are men's sneakers so order accordingly if you're going to purchase. PUMA.com has a very handy conversion chart so it's no sweat.
