Let's Move Tour 2012
Friday, February 10, 2012 at 9:37 AM
The First Lady was in Des Moines, Iowa yesterday to host a "Let's Move!" event for children from Iowa schools. Perhaps a nod to the upcoming holiday, Mrs. O wore a sold-out Sonia by Sonia Rykiel heart intarsia sweater, last seen in December 2011. (For those interested, similar sweaters are available here and here.)
From Iowa, Mrs. O was off to Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Arkansas for a "Let's Move!" event to highlight the military's effort to improve the nutritional quality of food they serve. On the style front, Mrs. O opted for an understated grey pantsuit, adorned with a red paper airplane pin.

Our First Lady is so beautiful, so energetic, so compassionate, so genuine; I love MY First Lady! God bless her, our President and family. Obama 2012!
Mrs. T, I was browsing Huffington Post and came across a picture of Arianna Huffington with the Obamas at the White House Christmas Party. Did you ever post on this dress before? I think FLOTUS looks lovely and would love to know who designed it.

isn't the young girl directly behind MrsO cute in her pink-and-white striped sleeves! wonder if she had a heads-up somehow of what FLOTUS was going to be wearing.
Giving a shout out to Nyon, Joss, CID, Adear, vik, and all fellow “Movers” - Keeping you in my thoughts at the Y. :>)
My thanks to our fit and fabulous Mrs. O and to our dear Mrs. T for making this community possible.
Mrs. O in Iowa - Very cute sweater.
Mrs. O @ LRAFB - Love her with our heros/troops! Love the look. So want the paper airplane pin. Who designed it and how can I purchase it?
Peace.
Mrs. Star, I'll be thinking about you, Mrs. O, Mrs. T. and "our gang" soon as I hit the treadmill at the gym! Hafta say, I can't do as much as Mrs. O (she's got way more stamina than I do!), but she motivated me last night to do some squats (which I HATE doing)! I loved this top when I first saw it and still do, but I think the classy trousers look GREAT on Mrs. O. They're the perfect length and pants like these work w/ anything. Okay, am gonna click on the provision for similar sweaters and see if I can find a similar one in my budget :-)
S.Lauren, I saw that post earlier today too. I think the First Lady's dress might be L'Wren Scott, also worn last March here: http://mrs-o.com/newdata/2011/3/23/evening-soiree.html
I too really like the pants she is wearing, they look like a good quality fabric, the length is perfect and the waist looks like a higher rise. I am tall too, and would love to have these pants.
Hey, hey Mrs. sTAR, I have added ZUMBA to my workouts, and I am addicted! First lady is movin' allright! Great repeat that striped sweater and YES that paper airplane pin I want please! Go red, its my favorite color
I saw MRSO in Florida having dinner with a family. I think she has on the blue floral Jason Wu dress from Target. I ordered it, but I have not received it yet. It received good reviews.
