On the Campaign Trail

The First Lady has returned from London and is back on the campaign trail, making two stops in North Carolina today to rally volunteer support. The effort is part of a lead up to the Democratic National Convention, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina in early September.

In Raleigh, Mrs. O wore a yellow floral Tracy Reese dress (previously seen in April 2011, here) to meet campaign supporters. In Greensboro, Mrs. O wore a navy and white stripe dress for a speech at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Update: Thanks to reader "Nellypoo" who spots Mrs. O's blue and white stripe dress as the BCBGMAXAZRIA Pleated V-Neck Sweater Dress, available here

Today was another full day for the First Lady. Mrs. O started her Tuesday with a DNC Event in Detroit. Then it was on to Chicago, where the First Lady attended Mayor Emmanuel's Summit on Food Deserts, which included stops at a Walgreens on the South Side and the Iron Street Urban Farm (shown above). Finally, the day wrapped up with a Chicago fundraiser.

For public events mid-day, the First Lady wore a striped sweater, featuring an asymmetric neckline and bow, paired with black trousers.

Update: Mrs. O wears a Tracy Reese Striped Bow-Neck Sweater, available here. (Thanks to Charlene in Detroit for the find!)
