Spring Planting
Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 4:00 PM
The First Lady hosted the spring planting of the White House kitchen garden on Thursday. Mrs. O had help from students from Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Technology Academy in Tennessee, Arthur D. Healey School in Massachusetts, Benjamin David Gullett Elementary School in Florida, Bancroft Elementary School in Washington, D.C. and Harriet Tubman Elementary School in Washington, D.C.
For her garden work, Mrs. O wore printed jeans with a yellow draped neck top and striped anorak jacket. Green Boss "Dirt Digger" gardening gloves, available here, completed the casual look.

I never thought of gardening gloves as an accessory before, Mrs. T! Then again, mine haven't been as clean as Mrs. O's in a long, long time.
Love the jacket...not feeling the jeans... and the top is a bit too drapey for gardening??? But it is a really nice color!
With this photo, it is now easy to undertand how she wear her wig with an undetectable closure and some natural hair to hide the "human hait bangs !
I'll do the same on my head , Michelle Obama is my model.
Though Mrs. O. looks fine as h*ll in her jeans, the pants seem so "off," impractical for gardening; double for the blouse. Actually, the entire outfit (pants, blouse, jacket), looks a bit hodge-podge as an ensemble--though individually I could see the pieces being significantly more stylish if paired otherwise. Yet, in the end, I'm guessing the clothing for this event was chosen more with "photo-op" than gardening in mind. (Oh well, she IS the First Lady. :-)
she is wearing a wig..
Mrs. O's outfit is nice; however, I would have chosen a differenct top to do the gardening.
@caca dada its not a wig, its the hair coloring thats being reflected

@caca dada, you came all the way here to tell us that why exactly???
You felt the need to put that out there because---???
Stay hate-filed and spiteful!!!
I seem to remember a couple of years ago when POTUS was in a store and he picked up some gardening gloves for our Michelle......as Mi Mom said, who knew gardening gloves would be a fashion accessory?!
I love seeing FLOTUS with children, you see her tender side even more.
