Kids' Inaugural Concert

Mrs. O and Dr. B are scheduled to attend the Kids’ Inaugural Concert this evening at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The concert will pay special tribute to military spouses and children, with appearances expected from Alicia Keys, John Legend, Katy Perry, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and others. More to follow!

Update: Mrs. O's white tunic appears to be the same Alexander McQueen piece that the first lady wore here in 2011.

Well, her outfit is smashing and so is her new hairstyle. The girls look cute!

I always have the hope or belief Mrs. O's staff read this blog. So I HOPE they will think about advising that those bangs get swept to the side or swept up for the formality of the the Inauguration. This new style is kind of fun and even a bit flattering but it will look so dated so fast. And we have as hard a time seeing her face now, with bangs in her eyes, as we did when one eye was obstructed by parted hair covering an eye. Bring your best and most elegant on Monday, please, dear Michelle!

The shirt.....I don't get it.....seems to make her look bigger...and she is thin! The blue sweater worn during the National Day of Service looked stunning! Although I liked her sideswept bangs from a few years ago, this style does make her look much younger...amazing how that works! I predict she will look so classy on Monday! Now, Jill B. is another story.

The girls always look amazing,,,,they are just beautiful!

I saw that Dr Biden wore yellow dress and Mrs Obama wore yellow belt. I wonder if the two of them colour-coordinated in advance. I like the way the two women seem to be truly projects partners .

Gorgeous family!
They look like they stepped out of a glossy magazine. I think the hair was straight ironed here and looks different from the fuller bob look which she seemed to have during the private swearing in ceremony at the White House. I quite like the fuller bob look. I saw a video taken during the community service event where she tucked one side of her bob behind her ear. Very sexy.
She's very hot!

First Family Fantastic!
Huffington Post has a close up of this belt and it is extraordinary. I just love how our Michelle plays with accessories and she gets it right. The girls are so poised and their clothes are always age appropiate.
Good look for our Obama girls!
