Olympic Spirit

The First Lady has arrived in London! Mrs. O began the day with a visit to the US Olympic team in east London, wearing a red peplum top paired with a red and white print jacket. From there, Mrs. O moved on to the American Ambassador's Residence, Winfield House, where she hosted 'Let's Move London' joined by David Beckham. For the second appearance, Mrs. O sported white pants paired with a two tone blue athletic top, piped blazer and sneakers.

Update #1: Thanks to reader "lisa" who notes similarity between Mrs. O's red top and the Zara double cloth top, available here in black and white. Thanks to reader "CarolAnn" who has spotted Mrs. O's red and white print blazer as the Thakoon Chevron Print Blazer, available here. Thanks to reader "MDavis" who has spotted Mrs. O's light blue blazer as the Talbots Grace Fit Piped Seersucker Jacket, available here.

Update #2: Adding an "Official White House Photo" from the Let's Move London event. The First Lady wears a great striped top, which reader "Dana" identifies as the Colorblock crewneck sweater from the Gap, available here.

I love the jacket and the top underneath!

I love the sports outfit as well.

The jacket is so upbeat and “patriotic;” when she takes it off and poses with the athletes, her red and black don’t call attention to herself, but keep the focus on the athletes. She must have really thought this one out.

I hate to say this, but that red & white jacket is pretty awful. Coincidentally, On Project Runway last night they had to make garments using candy from Ralph Lauren's daughter's candy store. And this jacket looks like little red candies glue-gunned on, just like the designers were doing last night.

Oh, sigh, hanging out with David Beckham, it's tough to be FLOTUS! And in that cute jacket, too!

I think the jacket is lively and fun, and patriotic, too -- perfect for the occasion. So proud to have our First Lady so active, involved and representing us so well!

I like the jacket. It's statement piece, so it's good that she didn't wear any jewelry besides that little pin on her lapel. She's looking very patriotic without actually wearing red, white, and blue. It looked like she had a lot of fun at her Let's Move event. She knows just what to wear to look polished and be comfortable enough to get out there and run around with the kids. LOVE HER!!

Love the outfits--especially the jacket! Unique yet stylish and the fit is great! Love the peplum top underneath. She looks wonderful leading the U.S. Olympic delegation! I'm sure our President is very proud!

The peplum top looks like it's from Zara.

I believe the jacket in the third picture is from Talbots: Grace Fit Piped Seersucker Jacket, on sale now.

I love both outfits! The jacket is good looking. I love the peplum top. The sporty outfit is great as well. I can't remember a more active and lovely First Lady.

The red and white jacket is not good!
The other jacket is very cute, though.

Lovely.

Perfect outfits both times. The jacket is a really cool way of doing red white and blue without actually wearing the stars and stripes. And the shape is fab.

Can I haz that striped shirt in the bottom pic, please?!

Striped sweater at the bottom is from the Gap!

Wow, it's good to see the fashion detectives at work! @ Lisa, MDavis & Dana, good looking out, you all are on the money!
I like the outfits that our Michelle is wearing, but I love that Gap sweater. When I saw it, my first thought was Ralph Lauren, not Gap. It's really nice and a good buy, too. Yes Nyon, WE can haz that sweater!
That's our FLOTUS!
