Back from Camp David

The President and First Lady, joined by daughters Malia and Sasha, as well as nephew Avery Robinson and family friend Roxanne Nesbitt, returned to the White House on Sunday following a weekend retreat at Camp David.
For the return trip, Mrs. O dressed in a vibrant floral skirt, paired with a blue tank and yellow short-sleeve cardigan. For those who sense something familiar, the First Lady donned the same skirt during a trip to Mumbai in November 2010, seen here. It's one of those pieces that remains a mystery. Any tips on the designer would be greatly appreciated!
Update: Hooray for reader "tuesde"! Indeed, Mrs. O wears a Gregory Parkinson skirt from Spring Summer 2011, seen here.

Mrs T, Malia is back from camp, she is walking with her family. The picture that you posted just doesn't have her.
Mr. O looks refreshed, and as always, Mrs. O looks fabulous in bold colors.
Lovely, as always! I like to see the girls smiling & happy.
Anyone else think the skirt may be another Gregory Parkinson?
So good to see them. I am praying earnestly for our President and this country. I love this man and his family.
While I loved the skirt in the Mumbai ensemble, I'm not really feeling it here...I do love the bright colors, though, and think each component of the look is great, just not together. Good to see the Obamas returning from some relaxation time!
Aha! This is SO much better than the Mumbai debut. Love the blue and yellow - that's the deft, colour popping Mrs O we know and love.
Love the color combo! The footwear is not doing it for me ( I saw other pics). They look like old ladies' shoes. But I love the feeling of the photos. Rest is important.
Prefer these colours to Mumbai. Looks much brighter and sets of colours in the skirt. If anything Mrs O seems sad. Perhaps the news in Afghanistan has really saddened them all.
I love the blue and yellow together. Mrs. O is in Corvallis, Oregon, visiting her brother for a few days.
Love the blue and yellow with this skirt!
Very very CUTE outfit!!!
Groovy, it's good to hear she's getting rest and spending time with her family. I'm sure she's resting up before she has to get out here and fight for her man! LOL ;-)
Really love this outfit--really modest and vibrant--and the belt keeps it together. Malia is such a teenager now! She always seems to be sharing insider jokes with her older cousins--and is definitely asserting a separate identity from her parents. I remember an interview with Mrs. Obama where they asked her how she felt about Malia turning 13/being a teenager and Mrs O said "Oh, she's already there."
It's good to see our Michelle again, even if only briefly! The whole family looks rested, hope they enjoyed the little mini break.
I rather like this skirt being worn with this tank top and cardi more than the J. Crew shell she wore it with in Mumbai. It really picks up the colors in the skirt and it looks bright and summer-time. I realize that those Maison Martin Margiela sandals aren't everyone's cup pf tea, but FLOTUS really favors them and they work well with this ensemble.
The girls are growing like weeds.....still cute as ever. Here's hoping that everyone is enjoying their summer!
The Obamas are Happy! Happy! Happy!
That's exactly what I see, happiness.
:0)
Fresh, simple, classic. LOVE!
Yearning for more fierce First Lady fashion...but she is entitled to her time away. Enjoy life Mrs. O.
Like the skirt, like the sweater, love the color palette. ...Yet, this outfit looks more "thrown-together" than "put-together."
Sigh, maybe there should be an interlude fashion report on Mr. O.
;)
Nice family picture and I hope the family has their customary holiday in Martha's Vineyard. I can only imagine the stresses that must go with being the President of the United States. Of course there is never going to be political consensus about how best the political problems of the day might be solved; but denying the President his annual summer holiday - as has some of his political opponents have been reported as arguing - would be plain stupid.
Hope everyone is enjoying their own summer holidays, too. All our lives are stressful at times!
I too held high hopes for the Obamas - both personally and professionally. I felt the efforts by Mrs. O to put a good foot forward were worthy on many levels. However, in light of the current state of affairs - our women and men dying in needless wars, the devastating unemployment situation, the economy, the continuing rendition and torture of American (and non-American citizens), the drastic cuts to the middle class and the poor via indirect taxation - I find no joy nor entertainment in observing Mrs. O's costumery.
While I wish the best to all concerned, I will not be part of the illusion of normalcy while 25% of our country's children will go to bed hungry this very night.
Farewell to you, Mr. and Mrs. O.
lea rochon--
Inappropriate comment on the main style page. As Mrs. T has previously mentioned, take it to the chatroom, not here.
Now for my inappropriate comment: Your comment eerily makes me think of a suicide note.
I find both joy and entertainment in observing Mrs. O's costumery. But I feel humble in the face of the sacrifices others are making for my way of life, and I give some of my time trying to help those whose circumstances are worse than my own. Lea Rochon, it's a question of balance, and as individuals we are all going to strike that continuum in our own way.
My my, Lea Rochon, you are so so righteous, but you make no sense.
1. I hope you don't ACTUALLY think a Republican administration would solve the problems you describe, if not, then who???
2. I will assume that if one looked in your closet, one would find it completely stripped of any item that cost more than $5 at goodwill, in drab colors that arent costumey. Being that you have obviously given up all your other clothes to the poor. Until you can prove that, best to hold your tongue about other peoples wardrobe choices.
Did we see these?
