The first family has arrived in El Salvador, where Mrs. O met with El Salvador's first lady, Vanda Pignato, to inaugurate the Ciudad Mujer women's center. For the event, both women chose violet. Mrs. O wore a printed Jason Wu frock from Resort 2011, accessorized with an Alexis Bittar pin at the shoulder.

she and her daughters looked wonderful landing in El Salvador. I have not disliked one single outfit this trip. FLOTUS and the WeeMichelles have hit it out of the park.
ABSOLUTELY beautiful! That Jason Wu....wonderful cut and I am loving the colors on her. The pin is icing!
Love Mrs. Pignato's sheath dress. Perhaps a nod to Mrs O?
Both of these fine First Ladies look remarkable in their shades of violet. I saw a picture of Vanda Pignato when she was meeting The First Family. She had her three year old little one on her hip and he was not letting his mommy go. It was the cutest thing.
All in all, this was a fashion bonanza that I hate is coming to an end. It was just announced that The President has cut his visit short and will be home tomorrow.
Our Michelle did us proud!
I initially thought Mrs Obama's dress was one of Barbara Tfank's designs. Both the cut and colour is a delight as is the wearer. I don't want their trip to end. I've so enjoyed myself these past few days.
Nice!!
Pretty Dress
This sheath dress thing has taken over all the women. Thanks Michele O.
I'm sorry, Mrs. O is wearing periwinkle not violet :) Does anyone else feel the 60's daytime glamour with the dress, heels and updo?
@rory, do a search on the dress. Multiple retailers describe it as violet.
Both women are wearing shades of purple, if one is wearing violet the other cannot possibly be wearing violet as well. Anyway, neither of them is wearing violet. Mrs. O is in periwinkle and Mrs. Pignato is in lavendar. Maybe the dresses have a different colour person if not multiple retailers weren't paying attention to their crayola in kindergarten.

Ok, let me say "lilac" and "Iris".....who cares about the color, they both look fabulous. I like Mrs. P's dress a lot. Wonder if SHE gets criticized for wearing her clothes "too tight, too short". She looks like she works out, she loves her body and to hell with anyone that doesn't like it!
Gorgeous!! She looks amazing.
Our First Lady and Family have looked so glamorous and fabulous on this trip. It is so wonderful to see.
